What Fish To Breed ?
I am going to be setting up a breeding tank in my bedroom. What is a good fish to breed?
Guppies are the easiest fish to breed.
You should own 3 females for every male. but be warned! these fish will over run your tank whether you do not plan it properly!
It depends on the size of the tank and what type of fish you want to breed. Guppies are defiantly the easiest to breed but as far as egg layers most of the cichlids are also graceful breeders. Just make sure you have a place to put adjectives the fry or someone willing to buy them because with either they will suddenly out breed the tank.
Answers: norbie is right i would start of beside livebrears and platies are nice!
i would focus that convicts are the easiest, i have been doing it for some time now on different breeds. they are the rabbits of the fish world.
I think that Live bearers are the best to start near (mollies, guppies, platies, ect) they are colorful, fun to watch and easy to breed and care for
well I would breed livebearers to start then move your way up to cichlids and see how that works out
