What is a cycled container?
I keep seeing people saying stuff around cycled and uncycled fish tanks. Just want to know what they're talking about
A reservoir that is established.
a cycled tank , when the filter have run for about 30 days and the bacteria needed to remove harmful fritter away in the water has formed. also favourable bacteria needed is also formed in a cycled tank, its mostly within the filter though. the bacteria removes nitrates, carbon, and other stuff. google cycled fish tank for more info
Answers: The "Cycle" is the process that converts throw away Ammonia in the tank into less harmfull Nitrate.
The work is done by Zillions of microbes that live in the filter, and on the gravel and ornaments as well.
When you set up a new reservoir you dont have any of these bacteria, so if you append too many fish, the ammonia will build up, and quickly kill your fish.
'Cycling' refers to the process of growing these microbes, and there are various methods of achieving this.
But untill you enjoy a working cycle in your tank it's not safe for your fish. The process may whip 3 -8 weeks depending on various things.

A cycled tank is one that contains beneficial bacteria to manage with ammonia and nitrites. Uncycled fish tanks could probably kill a fish.
It is a tank beside healthy water for the fish to live in. Fish live contained by different water conditions than humans and need special water. Since we are accumulation human water to fish, the tank changes the hose down to fish water and keeps it that way, which is call cycling.
