What is the baptize of a sucker-mouth catfish to be exact ok beside me?
I have an angelfish with me but it seems lonely for it. so i settled i will buy a sucker mouth catfish and hopefully i don't need to clean my tank for a long time. i don't hold a filter nor a aerator but i have a plant. i cant install a filter because my aquarium is a cylinder and its small. i could use a small catfish rather than a big one. please help me. i stipulation HELP!
"sucker fish" usually refers to the Plecostamus. Plecos are not keeping fish that keep your tank clean. They're simply like regular fish, and they need to be fed as okay. Your angelfish is going to die if you don't have a filter. I don't see the point in mentioning that you own a plant. The plant isn't cleaning your water at all. You need to acquire a filter, and a bigger tank. Angelfish need about 30 gallons, and that's still not a apt size.
As fish man said, most plecos can easily get to 2 feet long, need well over 70 gallons. Even the smallest plecos that reach only 3 inches long involve about 20 or 30 gallons.
I guarantee that your angelfish is not lonely for a suckermouth catfish. If anything, it might want another angelfish for company.
The bigger problem is that your aquarium sounds as though it's much too small for an angelfish. I wouldn't try to keep even one angelfish in anything smaller than a 20-gallon tank, apart from as a short-term quarantine tank.
If I were you, I would save the money I be going to spend on more fish, and use it to get a bigger tank.
Answers: You can (and need to) have a filter get an external canister one
so you added a fish that eat algae but you really expect this to reduce the cleaning you have to do
here is a little equation
more fish+ no filteration= ammonia = more marine changes and maintanance
i think you mean a plecostomus and the most adjectives plecos need 70 gallons minimum. angels need large tank aswell.
