What is/are the most unusual fish that you own(ed)??

The Oscars are strange because they have a real intelligence and you can interact, but visually the African Butterfly Fish have me hooked. What else would you spend an hour looking for spiders, so you can monitor a fish stalk it for 30 seconds? It's the trapdoor mouth; a little fish with a massive gob :o)

Thats not my fish, but I cant find my camera and I was lazy. So yeah. lmao. Mine is about 8 inches in a minute.
I have longfin (Giessen) tequila dawn guppies.
Since their gonopodium is so long, males generally cannot breed. So the typical way to maintain them is to cross short finned males to long finned females.
Some breeders own reported they can trim the gonopodium to let the males breed.
Or else one needs to use artificial insemination to breed the males.

I would hold to say my parrot and my pleco. My 4 year old blood impressionist (not dyed!) is 9 inches long and the most aggressive fish ive ever seen. He begs for food but if you put your mitt in the water he will break skin when he bites. The pleco is a year old tour fin leopard pleco. His high dorsal fin and all the spots and strips make him the prettiest fish contained by the tank. Hes also a bit aggressive and very protective of his log. Unfortunately in a couple years even my 72 gal wont be big plenty for them. I fear i may have to buy a bigger house.. Just for my fish!
