What is the suitable (pH),(GH),(KH),(NH4/NH3),(NO2)… for discus fishes?

Answers:    Ph Should idealy be 6-7.
gH / kH - low (soft water)
NH4 & NO2 MUST be zero (tank fully cycled)
NO3 preferably under 10

Ignore the others unless your tap river is badly polluted.

I breed discus and theres one thing I can tell you-I HAVE BROKEN EVeRY RULE IN THE BOOK AND MY DISCUS HAVE ALWAS
BEEN HEALTHY AND BREEDING--- I would trade name sure the temps do stay warmer the minimun 80 Degrees farenheit ,they do prefer warmer river 85 degrees farenheit.

CU tests are o.k. if you suspect theres too much copper from your marine faucet_which can kill fish.

When changing water gross sure there is not a big ph difference cause fish can hold ph shock.

Un less you are buying wild stock then undoubtedly you want to imitate their natural conditions.

Enjoy your discus!
