What sort of betta do i hold?

i know its a basic veil tail but it is all red apart from a very slight column of blue along the top of the dorsal fin and bottom of the anal fin

the peduncle and start of the caudal fin has a little bit of turquoise green colour to it in places but most of the betta is red

is here any name for this betta colour type

Red next to blue wash. Some breeders will give it a fancy name, approaching Christmas or something else that fits with blue red combo, but since I think you got this from a pet shop (no one breeds veil tail anymore) so no need to bother with that. It's a red male( I'm assuming) vt with blue clean.

Well, you know what sort of Betta you have - a Veil Tail Betta. The colour does not matter very much as to the type of Betta, as near are many types of Betta's with very different colours!
