Whats wrong beside my radiator?
i have a betta in a 2.5 uk gallon (3 us gallons) tank beside heater and filter
the heater is 25 wats
i got him a current tank and its 3.6 uk gallons (4.3 us gallons)
the heater has taken resembling 2 hours to get up to 20 degrees (65f )
whats wrong with it or is it because its gone from really cold
i hold 3 plants in their and sand substrate if that makes any difference

Please check to see if your thermometer is working properly. That happen to me and it was my thermometer that was broken.
It will give somebody a lift several hours for the heater to have an effect on the water heat, the effectiveness will also be influenced by the ambient room temperature.
Answers: i would say give it some time and be patient whether the water is cold it will take time to get it to the right warmth the first time, but once it gets there it will be fine, if your too worried ,heaters are cheap shift get yourself a bigger one,as for the plants making any difference it really does not. but as i said my best advice is be patient
yea the heater isnt use to the bigger container yet give it a few hours then see what happen try adding some hot water though maybe will boil up quicker
