Where are windy brineshrimp found?
I think most of the commercial ones come from Utah
Various parts of the world, contained by salty inland lakes. They can live in enormously salty water and the eggs can survive the lakes drying up. They stay within the dust and salt of the dry lake and hatch again when it eventually rains again. Thats why you can buy a pack of dry eggs that will still hatch after a couple of years.
Think deserts contained by Arizona and California etc.

Answers: Brine shrimp are found on every continent and ocean with the exception of antarticia. The vast majority of brine (all types) are more concentrated surrounded by areas where fish and very few inverts are found. i.e. salt lake, salt production faciities. Their greatest enemy are birds not fish. Australia is also another country with a illustrious brine population.
The smallest are San Francisco Bay variety and the largest was found to be a stain from China.
