Where can i return with a 20 gallon container and the paraphernalia for $20 HELP PLEASE?

ok i did all my reasearch but i ave a short span so idid not catch a few things close to how much room they need so HELP? I also need to get a straight answer can i use a plastic bin for of late a while till i get a aquarium for my fan tailed goldfish

You cannot get a 20 gallon tank near the filter, and the gravel, etc for $20. You can use a plastic bin just as long as it is big enough, and cleaned.

Its nearly impossible to find things that cheap for fishkeeping. Occasionally at walmart they sell plain glass tanks for 20-30 dollars. Or, whether you are still in school or have a child within school, perhaps you can ask your science teacher whether they have a spare that they are not using. This is how i got started with a 20 gallon container. Other than that fish stuff doesnt come cheap.

you can't get a 20 gal. tank for only 20 bucks. it'd cost close to 50 or60 dollars with everything, the filter and stuff.

yes, you can use the plastic bin. but it has to be at least 5 gallon large~ and you can't keep it contained by there longer than a week.
just 1 goldfish? If you're going to go through the trouble of looking for a tank, try to find something bigger than a 20... Something more similar to a 45 or 55.

Anyhow, you should call around to your local pet stores and see if any of them have used equipment sale. I know one around where I live does. If that doesn't work, try Craigslist. $20 is going to be tough for the whole set up. The tank will probably come to an end up costing you about $15-$20 used without anything else. You're probably going to be spending about $30-$50 for the used stuff and probably $50-$60 for the contemporary.
You can get one pretty cheap at a pet store, Since it's a goldfish you don't have need of to buy a filter or heater.
