Which type of fish could i maintain beside these fish?
i have a female betta in a 1.5 g reservoir.whatb can i put in there?i also have another betta surrounded by a 1 g tank.what can i put in there?i also want to hold on to goldfish in a 10 g tank.which type should i get?how plentiful?please if you are going to tell me names of fish i can keep hold of with the bettas please i dont want fish that will need an air pump solitary the golfish.
Nothing beside the bettas. Haven't you ever heard of the "ipg" rule? I know its a little out of date, but its a better rule than nought. And the goldfish- ONE goldfish needs 20 gallons. Plus a very good filtration system
You cam put a large snail in next to your bettas but nothing else because the tank is too small for any other fish. Bettas can take dirtier sea (but it is not good for them) and the snails can also. As far as goldfish, the rule of thumb is the first fancy goldfish should have 20 gallons and 10 gallons for each spare fancy goldfish and it should be well filtered and not heated to above 72 degrees. That is another aim that goldfish are not advised to being in near tropical fishes. Plus goldfish produce more waste material than most tropical fish and will pollute the tank adequate to kill moat tropical fish (unless you have adequate filtration and wet changes.)
Answers: Just get the little gold fish and they should be fine! But if they start dieing consequently the bettas probobly killing them! There vicious!
Generally, you cant put them with other fish unless you append a divider to the tank. Keep goldfish together-they don't mix well with other fish. As for the Betta's would hold them how they are and decorate their tanks. You can add live wet plants (peace Lily's, etc) and they make very nice looking tanks.
nothing and simply get the smallest goldfish possible.
All goldfish are ok short an air pump. Get the small ones because they will grow fast. I have hear that you can't put anything with a betta because they will kill other fish.
Goldfish also need a filter, at the very tiniest, unless you intend on changing the water often.
Do NOT tag on any more fish into the betta tank unless you intend on weekly water changes. Any more fish will most expected stress them. Not to mention that the tank is already slightly too small for the betta anyway.
well i bettas fight so no no no . goldfish can stay alone but no man to man or woman to woman
