Best saddle.?
What is the best kind of saddle for eventing? I doesn't have to be an eventing saddle, and it doesn't need to be for elevated level eventing.
So do you have a dressage saddle? You categorically don't want to do dressage in a jumping saddle, but could do all three phases within an all purpose saddle.
For a jumping/XC saddle, I would look for one with forward flaps, a deeper seat, and the rank of knee and thigh blocks you prefer.
Well if you're doing 3 sunshine eventing (Cross Country, Stadium Jumping and Dressage) then you need an all purpose saddle that you can do adjectives 3 events in (Most have 2 to 3 different saddles for the difficult levels). I'd go with a Stubben All Pupose saddle. They are GREAT for keeping you in the saddle and for adjectives disciplines. I've got a nearly 40 year old Stubben Siegfried that's saved my tush more than once and served me devotedly and still has lots of miles in it.

If you can't afford a new sadde, after check out ebay for some of the more gently used saddles.
Deff progress with the wintec! best saddle I ever owned. Its sinthetic is so iwon't't matter if it get wet. And the CAIR pannels are amazing! I would not own any othere saddle!
Stubben Roxanne. I've only tried it, but so SO nice. Really comfortable, and the Roxanne S has additional padding/knee roll things that are supposed to be really good for keeping your leg positioned during xcountry.
I ride in a Pessoa, which I also love, but the Roxanne is specifically for xcountry.
good luck!
