Bouncing boobs within shows? Sorry for this?

Ok I know this might seeem little odd but do judges care whether girls boobs bonce? I mena do they take points off? Is it condisdered rude? I own only shown a little bit on my little horse and I di very economically but I am worried about showing my draft. He is verrrrrrrrry bouncy, and it is much wors than on my little horsee. I tried wearing two sports bras but it was way too manifest I jad two on and today I tried binding but it HURT ! I am in the process of getting one for riding(do not want to task dsad to reimburse for it,) but in the mean time what do the judges tihnk? :s
thank you!
nah i dont really think they care...we r girls, its accurate to show off some lady power ha! lol but in my shows they havent really said anything plus we cant really give support to it though i saw in a horse mag that they had a bra that stopped ur boobs from bouncing and im like thank god!! whether u want more info just email me Glenworth_Horsegal(a)yahoo.com

good luck =]
The judges don't really mind. They (or at lowest they're supposed to) look at the way you ride and how good the horse looks.

The important piece though is that you mustn't hurt. Don't bind them, you'll just hurt yourself. A sports bra is fine. Just do whatever is most comfortable for you and forget what the judges imagine. ;)
Having ridden several very bouncy horses surrounded by dressage and having from nature having be give a sizable chest, I can safely say that no the bench are not going to mark you down, at worse you might get a cheeky comment on your dressage sheet. That said, it is important that both you and the horse hold the right equipment, especially if your riding showing classes, where presentation is remarkably important. Though they can’t grade you down for having a big bouncing chest, it does affect the overall presentation and they may comment that the ride wasn’t as “smooth” because of it.

I'm very skinny but I have a size D cub so I've had rather a bit of problems finding a way to cut back on the bounce and I too find binding very humiliated and it often slips. I recommend finding a "riding sports bra"(yes they do make them specifically for riding) just remember to gain one with the X over the back, I find them better for larger chests. If this doesn't stop the bounce adding a general running bra, without wires, over it, gives even more support. If all else fail, start riding with a safety vest :), though I personally find them mortified, it does stop all visible bouncing and makes riding safer.
Do try to find a good riding bra for your own comfort. Don't worry in the region of the judges though. You are not the first woman to ride a horse. They have seen it adjectives before. Too much bouncing around can make you sore though so a good bra that reduce bounce is still important.
I have the same problem. It doesn't effect your scores, but it does effect your riding whether you're worrying about it, and THAT will effect your scores. Champion makes brilliant larger sized sports bras. Get one with "high MCR." They aren't terribly expensive any. They have a website, so no matter where you are, you can capture one.

Good luck!
its a fact of existence, and since it does not effect your riding or your horses performance there really is no reason a intermediary could dock points. i ride in a light underwire, with a sports bra over it. its not as bulky but offer more support.
First- get yourself a rider's bra so you can stop the bouncing ( which incidentally, is more than just objectionable and distracting to look at- it is also VERY HARD on the muscles of your chest, and I am sure it must be uncomfortable and PAINFUL as well), and second, you have need of stop worrying so much. Yes, I know there are people out there who own a bias against large women ( George Morris is perhaps the most widely known) but this doesn't mean that ALL law lords are like that. I used to work for a well known "S" smooth dressage judge ( she was an "I" judge when I first met and go to work for her) and she is definitely NOT like this. I have also met at least possible one other judge in that sport, and SHE was not biased any.

Meanwhile, there are other things you can do which will help you minimize the bounce problem. One of these is to make certain that your regular bras fit you correctly and provide enough support, and that they hug your breasts to your chest, the way they should. Have you ever had a professional fitting done? If not, now's the time. Many women own trouble judging whether or not a bra actually fits correctly, and getting a professional's advice is helpful- and so is the purpose viewpoint which she will give you. Another thing you can do is start a counterbalance or strength training program which focuses on your upper body- building up the muscles in that area helps lift up up your breasts, and stronger chest muscles mean less bouncing and pain for you. Certain other sports, such as swimming, also assist with this. I swim as an alternate to riding, and it has helped me considerably when it comes to upper body strength.

Finally, the later suggestion I have is rather obvious- if you are overweight, consequently make an effort to trim down. Breast tissue is largely fatty in make-up, and getting rid of excess pounds elsewhere will also mean a reduction in the overall size of the breast. Good luck- delight in your sports, and have fun !!
Having judged, I can right to be heard that if 2 riders had identical equitation, and one have the girls out of control, thereby distracting from the whole picture, I'd place the other rider higher.

This would apply smaller amount O/F than on the flat, and less still in the hunters, but only marginally so. Hunters are adjectives about image.

Form follows function. How can you expect to be effective whether you've got things flopping all over, effecting your posture/ position? And, if this is an equitation lesson, you can BET you won't place as high if you're wearing a flimsy bra.

I don't see how it being 'road too obvious' one wears 2 sports bras can be detrimental to showing. In my class, I would see a serious competitor who's using the equipment required to ride effectively.

Call me George Morris, but I think presentation IS tremendously important. Looking tidy is very important, esp. within hunters/ eq.

You enter a class for the subjective opinion of that judge. If you are going to disregard what the judge finds distracting, then you may as well burn the money rewarded for entry fees...
Answers:    I'd reflect, for your own comfort, you'd choose to wear an eventing sports bra for additional support. I do think it messes next to your profile on the wall. It makes you self conscious which in turn may influence you to ride with your shoulders forward instead of fund...an effort to "hide" the bounce.

You might look into a bust reduction..your insurance may pay for the procedure as an over-sized bust will interfere beside your spine. And, cause you additional grief. Consider this during your off season of showing.

An oversized bust will effect you not one and only in your horse events but also in other sports...soccer, volleyball, tennis, etc.

Edit: The AQHA judges I've worked next to, as a show steward, will place another contestant with less of a distracting profile higher than the rider have difficulty with a "bouncing" profile...At our shows, the profile is everything on the wall. The "cleaner" the look, the better you'll stand out.
"Smooth" counts at my breed shows. Zero excess foot movement, hand movement, shoulder movement, etc. And you horse has to enjoy a super trip in the pen to place.
Judges do understand if you tend to be unhealthy chested woman. However it does make the overall appearance smoother and cleaner if you can find properly fitted support for yourself. Sometimes judges can be so distracted by your bouncing that it take away from actually judging what they should be judge. Although they may not claim they do, they are human. You should try videoing yourself and ask an honest friend for their opinion. Whats important is taking care of your breast. Bounce can be tremendously destructive to breast tissue. If you have that much of a concern than it is essential that you do find a good bra regardless of price. When you discern comfortable, you will perform comfortable. I do not recommend binding while you are riding. Some women resort to a cardio exercising program to help tone things down a little bit. You should use a bra that will bind your breast into your chest or encapsulate them into cups. Look up some riding bras online for a well brought-up price. Still wonder what they are thinking? Ask a female judge if you can ask a honest cross-examine: was your bouncing too much?

Good luck in your sports!!
I hope they dont mind, i think it affects us more than the judge because it plays on our minds.

flawless luck with it all!
Bouncing boobs are the best

If I be a judge I'd place the girls with the biggest and bounciest boobs first
