Break myself or Professional?
gypsy vanner again lol.
should i send him away 2 be professionaly done where he wont know anyone ect or...do it myself beside lotsa help frm my trainer where he knows and trusts me?
opinion people!
=)
Well I have been very opinionated on this subject and generally recommend a pro but if you are very driven, have professional oblige and someone willing to help you during those tough times and you want to do most of the work and maybe enjoy a pro put the finish on your horse Id say go for it. You sound resembling you have a good head on your shoulders and already utter that you have a pro at you disposal...then why not!
I would start with a professional for a month or 2. Just to get the initial breaking done. Trust me, when you get your horse vertebrae, you will still have a very green horse that you can evolve with. But, have a horse that you can at least saddle and mount without freaking out will do alot for both of you becauseyou can learn unusual things togehter.
Well, that depends entirely on your skill level. If you have less than 4 years of horse experience (being beside and handling horses at least once a week) then you need to convey him away. Well, I mean, here are exceptions, but my friend, a pretty good rider broke two bones falling of her green mare. So, only keep that in mind. If you enjoy enough know-how, them I might suggest doing it yourself, as it's really a great, and rewarding entity to do, when it's done right. and the trusting bond you gain will be so worth it!
I hope I helped! Best of luck!
you can start now by getting him used to human being saddled and bridled. and if you have another elder horse that you can ride then saddle up the youngster, ride the older horse and head the baby so that when you eventually do ride for the first time most of the bases have be covered. also far better than lunging.
If you have a professional trainer to serve you, then it's a no brainer...best scenario if to train your own horse if you know what you are doing or enjoy someone that you trust helping you.
I sincerely hope you know what you are doing, because a horse has a long working life.I am not motto don't but I would say take the role of assistant rather than I know what I am doing. After adjectives you would never learn other wise.
Answers: Professional! Always! Then it is done right. But you can always find someone to teach you how to. & Work near you & your horse together. It is always good to have someone comfort.
I would do it with the person you are friends with. You may acquire some very valuable knowledge and cram a lot for your next yearling to break.
