Bull riding why do they own a bell?
why is there a bell on a bull rope? i got asked this question and i wasn't certain. Thanks!
I have never seen them put a bell on a bull at the rodeos but if I have to guess it would either be "for show" or just to piss the bull off lol.
Well, they do to make the bull buck. It bothers the crap out of them. I would find it quite annoying whether i wore a bell on my stomach.
I agree with kicking take on but i never seen n e on a bull at a rodeo
prolly the object kicking bear said, and also maybe to help them hold on to track of the bull, when they cant see him (because of Dust or movement)...
stupid TD fairies!
Answers: The bell on a bull rope is nothing more than a weight to help the bull rope jump down off when the rider is bucked off/ or pulls his slack(voluntarily gets off). There is nothing sinister or material deep about the bell on a bull rope other than it mortal a weight and tradition.
