Can someone make a contribution me a short discription of what respectively features of riding includes?

I'm a pleasure rider, so I sorta do w/e. lol, I don't know for example, what a hunter does.
ENGLISH
jumping
dressage
eventing
cross country
trails

WESTERN
barrels
poles
trails
keyhole
quadrangle
birangle
obstacle
relays

personally i think english is more fun. but western is easier and more relaxed. ENGLISH all the bearing
A lot of people go wrong to include saddle seat.
Saddle seat is extremely fun, but it is very intensely difficult.
Arabs, Saddlebreds, Morgans, NSH, etc. do saddle seat.
It includes a high headset, upright posting, raise hands, etc.
The horse has a very elevated stepping, flashy trot.

There is also 5-gaited saddle seat classes for well, 5 gaited Saddlebreds. They walk, trot, and canter along near the rack which is a more advanced trot without posting.
Answers:    Okay, I try but there are so many lol. I guess I will just do the most adjectives.

ENGLISH:
Hunter/Jumper: a realitvely simple course (between 6 and 10 usually) of non bright jumps, mostly judged on the rider, but also judged as a set of two. An even consistant pace is ver important, most Hunter/Jumper shows include Show Jumping classes. Fences range from crossrails to 4ft+
Show Jumping: sometimes more difficult course or jump, all on speed...position over jumps does not matter.Fences compass from 2'3 to 6ft+
Equitation: Very simular to Hunter, except judged more on rider's position.
Dressage: No jumping. A shape is done, a dressage horse must be a good mover and be pretty obedient.
Eventing: Includes three phases (sometimes called 3 Day Eventing) consist of show jump, dressage, and cross country
Cross Country: part of eventing, and is based on speed. Sometimes this is considered the most dangerous english sport, because the jump can not be knocked down, it is based on speed, the courses are long, and it can be through water, ditches, bank, and woods. Though some people LOVE it more than anything :D

WESTERN: (I ride english so I will just put descriptions for the few I know and just enumerate others)
Western Pleasure
Barrel Racing: you race around a pattern of barrels, fasest rider/horse wins...sounds boring but it is a thrill lol
Pole Bending: weave up afterwards back down a set of upright poles, fastes rider/horse wins
Reining
Trail Classes
Roping

that's approximately all I know, so hope it helped :D
theres also saddleseat/saddle type.

saddleseat is for saddlebreds, arabians, morgans, NSH, etc. They wear different clothes than regular english disciplines. they wear daycoats, kentucky jods, etc.

then nearby is non trotting saddleseat that is for gaited breeds such as twh, racking horses, paso finos, etc. same clothes
well i strongly disagree with the recent post.
I feel western is much harder. Because when you barrel race it takes primary skill to be able to connect with your horse to get a 14 or 15 sec. run. Also, you must train your horse any from the very start or if you buy one you have to train it to your paw movements and leg positions. Because one wrong move and your horse has done plowed down a barrel.

I freshly started horse shows i simply did my first one and i would close to some tips and pointers to do better?   Which Is Better? Help?   Parelli gone wrong?***Please answer?   How feasable for a Equine/Horse Course at College?
