Easier mode to worm a horse?

My horse used to be good for worming, but unfortunatly about two years ago he had lime and is a unbelievably finicky eater and wouldn't eat the pills out of his grain and I had tried everything pulp, apple sauce ,molassess, etc. Nothing worked so I had to give it to him by suringe every day for a month, and presently he is HORRIBLE for worming, and again I've tried putting it in apples, banannas, and have also tried putting apple sauce and water'd down molasses in a syringe to show him not everything is as evil as he think. Any ideas on what would be an easier way to worm him? Awhile ago I had see some sort of contraption that you put in there mouth like a bit and put the wormer surrounded by that, but not sure how well that works. Any suggestions, Id really like to not hold to fight with him! I would do the daily wormer but right presently with his other supplements can't afford it. 8*(
yeah our horses wont eat the pills either so we the the right amount of pills in a syringe and put a bit of hose down in it too then we left it over darkness to dissolve and in the morning shake it up and put the syringe horses mouth and squeezed into their mouth's and made sure they swallowed it by holding their head up and thoughtfully ran our hands down their throat. Even though this still isn't very undemanding but it's easier than tiring to force them to eat the pills.
Or you could leave a lil bit of water surrounded by the bottom of his bucket and sqeeze it into the bucket or over his food.
Daily deworming won't solve your problem since you must also paste worm within addition to the daily deworming, or not all species will be kill, and resistance will develop. I believe you will have to learn to use a twitch to get this done. Deworming is so extremely key that even if you don't like using the twitch, it is a necessary evil to traffic with a necessary part of horse concern.
I use a day by day wormer called diafil. Its a powder that I mix with the grain. Since sweet nurture is coated with molasses, the powder sticks to it and they eat it all. I return with Diafil in a 50 lb bag for $26 and it lasts adjectives year. The other name for it is Diatomaceous Earth. Just make sure to attain the "food grade".

I feed it to the horses, put a generous dusting under bedding within stalls and even dust down the walls of the stalls in the summer to help with insects (mostly ants and spiders). I a moment ago moved my horses but at the stable where they were, I introduced it to more or less 5 people there and 3 started using it after seeing my stalls free of pests and my horses (were neglected when I bought them) gain weight and enjoy no colic problems. They also noticed the lack of odor in my stalls.
I have a mare she has to be twitched every time. She acts close to we are killing her. You have tried everything I tried... But it just comes down to she have to have a twitch. It sucks, but That is the only way she'll stand. Good luck!
Answers:    you can now get wormers that are surrounded by a tasty apple flavoured treat which are about the size of a pound coin. x
I dispense my horse Strongid C2x...It looks just like his grain so I mix it surrounded by. The biggest problem with it is that you have to give it to them every hours of daylight whic can be sort of inconvenient.
There is a liquid worm-er out that works real well. It doesn't enjoy an odor and mixes well with grain. ( Sorry I can't remember the mark of it.) Check with your local Co-Op or feed store they should know the name of it. The other virtuous thing about it, is it goes a long means of access. Good luck.
try using a monthly wormer paste (stronggoid)
they are easy to give and they are a paster so he can't spit it out glibly

*make sure you give it to him at a time he hasn't got a mouthful of hay so he can drop it
Any suggestions for excerises...?   How do I know whether an auction is a low title auction or a soaring title auction?   Not really a request for information but more of a thank you?   Is my horse registered as any breed?
