Hi! It's a right pain in the (a)ss when you get your length before BSJA or an event.
What do you do to help the cramps and what do you wear tampon or towel?

obedient question. it's always been my concern to have my period when riding. i would wear a tampon with a pantie liner a moment ago in case.
If you usually use a heat pad to relieve the pain, they make those that are nouns activated that you can wear under your breeches. The ones that wrap around like a put money on support work great, and stay hot for about 6-8 hours. You can find them in the drug store in the strain relief section. Also, take doesn`t matter what pain reliever you usually do. If I am worried about "coverage" I will wear a tampon for the flow and a see-through pad for the peace of mind. There is not a pad anywhere that alone holds up economically to the rigors of active or competitive riding.
Answers: Depending on how long i will be riding i usally basically wear a pad, and if possible dark riding pant, Yeah i know it sucks. but say iam going to be riding for over 3 hrs i wear a tampon and a pad just within case cause u never know.
YES! Such a pain!! urgh! Once i was at a weekend show with zilch with me (i forgot to pack stuff in my excitement for the show!) so we had to drive 30 minutes to a convience store to buy some stuff (it be me, my sis and my dad...my mom couldnt come!) and I was 14, so it was quite degrading!
I take advil to help with cramps when riding, I find that after give or take a few 15-20 minutes of riding cramps go away anyways tho...I wear tampons, that way you dont hold to worry about leaks (eww on your saddle!) and adjectives that yucky stuff...I dont find them uncomfortable when riding at all.

I use a pad just for the consolation of knowing its not likely to leak. It doesn't really tend to bother me if I transmute it often enough. However, if you're riding english and you're within tights it might show that your wearing a pad/towel. Also you can ride for longer as you have to change a pad/towel less habitually than a tampon.
well i wear a darkness pad a libra one they do greast and stop leaking coz there bigger =]
i use nurofen term pain tablets about ten mins b4 i hop on and it works wounders=D
i dont wear tampons at all i find them really uncomfterbal =]

Tampon every time - and take paracetamol. Blasted cream jodhs are a twinge though!!
I hate tampons, I use a pad.Just find a super long one and you'll be covered.
i would use a tampon and a large pad just to be secure...midol for the pain or advil
Towel, there way more comfortable, and if you focus on your symmetry it doesnt slip
Tampon towels bound to slip and is not comfy.
Super plus tampon and panty liner just in luggage... ibruprofen for the pain!

Mine be too severe to go riding.
tampons. playtex sport is amazing. or pads with wings. any works for me. For cramps. put a hot water bottle on your stomach before you ride and take pamprin or midol. don't drink too much up to that time you ride and don't drink too fast. that makes it worse. sorry about your luck. enjoy fun and good luck in your show!!
I use both a tampon and a pad. Ive wrecked my saddle before .. now i appropriate no chances! LOL
