i just rescued a paint horse but with palomino spots, not black or brown...im not sure what its call xP
but he needs a new name...
right immediately he is called "frankie" which is my uncles name...well, its frank...but you win the idea! hahaha

For stage name or showing you could name it Hollywood Lace :)
You could also name it on its behaver.

I love the term Eternal Eclipse. that was my palomino paint mare's name and we called her maw, but i guess you would have to be creative to come up with a new christen. I have an appy horse named Dude...i always thought that be a cute name =] maybe you could call him din? he seems to have the colors to fit it, and possibly the personality. Good Luck! =]

Has he be abused? I really like the name Violent Grace for an abused rescue horse. High spirited? Desert Dancer is a cool one. Since its a paint, a native american describe sounds suitable.

I don't really have any conception what his personality is so these are just random name off the top of my head... Hope you like them!
It is so hard to christen a horse that you don't know. Usually once you learn his personality, a name will in recent times come to you. Of course by then you are kinda "stuck" with what you had be calling him.
I grew up working on a rental string and every time we got a new horse we had to come up near a name. It can be a lot of fun.
For rescues, I love the name "Lucky" or "Chance" (as within second chance). Or you could call him "Dollar" "Dinero" or "Cash" since you will never have any again.
I enjoy always put so much thought in nick naming my horses, and afterwards they all get stuck with other nickname like "mare" , "big guy" or "little girl". Or sometimes "lughead" or "alpo" or some other endearing title.
