How can I gross a small lorry for a donkey to verbs?

I would like to make a wagon that holds one personality that is light enough for a donkey to verbs, and it has to have good brakes because we own tons of hills around here and I don't wanna hit him. It should be easy to build as well because I own to build it in my woodshop class.
well u can make the body and wheels but im not certain about the rest u would have to get a pro to do that so in recent times make the sortof seat wiht feet rest to put ur foot so they dont drag and then the two poles on either side and with the wheel and axels it might be good to get a pro in also u enjoy to make sure it fits ur donkey so make it a bit wider consequently ur donkey body like 2 inch ither die and wiht the seat make certain u put a back bit to suport ur back

and get measurments from other cart

good luck
You build the body of the cart but you should have the shafts professionally built here is the website where I purchased a two wheel cart for my donkey. He also sells just the shafts...

these shafts also own a place for the traces to attach.

If you have your donkey properly harnessed with breeching the pushcart shouldn't hit him.
Answers:    What size donkey is this?

Are you really needing to heave things with him? A 2 wheel cart will suffice for you and a friend to run on a drive.

With those, you don't need brakes, even down hills. That is the purpose of the britching and the donk needs to memorize to hold back a load using the britching. They will actually lean backbone to hold it back.

I would concentrate on a 2 wheel cart and newly google easy entry carts and you will get lots of thinking.

Good luck!

I've seen plenty of two wheeled donkey cart in Mexico made from the rear axle of a small front wheel drive sports car and a couple of 'donut' spare tires. If you're handy and have access to tools, welder , etc...or in a 4H class at institution...it would be relatively simple and inexpensive to build
