How Much Would You Pay For This Horse?
I just bought this horse for 1k the horse market sucks here btw you see great horse going for less than $500.00
Anyway I be just curious on how much you would pay for the horse (No I am not selling him)
He is registered paint (QH) He is only four years elderly he will load in a two horse straight hop in and out and same for the slant. He is awfully easy to catch and saddle mount and dismount. He will put his head down exceptionally low and open his mouth perfectly for the bit. He does not spook he has run into some pretty scary things. He is a gelding i am a beginner and I ride him perfectly. He d¨Ścolletage reigns really good and has a great stop to him, If you wanted him to turn slow he would listen and go slow or if you wanted him to jump fast he would go fast. He moves bad the sound of a kiss. You can pick up his feet also and the farrier has no problem putting shoes and a trimming. He also have been learning the barrel stencil. He would be fun and great to ride from a beginner-advanced. Just curious what other people would pay also his father was a two eyed red buck i be told he was a champion racer but thats one my friend told me but not sure.
not impossible of a price
Im in Austrialia.
Here, registered QH go for a fair bit (regardless of what they can do) around the $3000-$4000 sucker (which is a fair bit for horses around here).
But if you take into consideration of what your boy can do and his trainable outlook and his possibles lines I would say around $6000-$8000AUD
Bomb Proof $1500.00 and up. Has potential of being a polite prospect for breed show or Hunter/Jumper ect...or a great barrel prospect. it can keep going up and up.AND if he does economically in competitions well the more Blues the more $$$$$.
And your right the market sucks,,,,but whether he is truely Bomb Proof AND HAS THE LOOK (Flashy) more $$$$$$ AND The more he is seen at shows and gets into the ribbons.well the reality is a push button horse that wins or does well at shows can bring big bucks. Rich parents don't care what the horse costs, they basically care if thier kid wins, and unfortunatley it is a reality.
He could probably go for at least $4000, sounds resembling you got a pretty good horse on your hands. I'd help yourself to him in a minute.
idk
probably like 500 cuz the market is unpromising and he sounds like he really needs training
and i dont ride western so i wouldnt know
like correct english horses go for 20,000 so i dont know how western horses compare
If he is the prince you say he is,then I doubt that mere money would purchase him.
he sounds fantastic! well worth the money by the sounds of it. would be great within shows and pony club. good luck to you.
With his attitude alone I would go at about $1000 but that not all a creature is looking for in a good horse they want good confirmation something that can work polite and hard for him no matter what stress it puts on him he takes it within stride with little to no lingeries or sureness he needs to have angelic legs not to short not to long back a good shoulder and hip and be in proportion though out his body. If a horse have that you can get $3000 or more on that alone add a good pedigree to it and a clothed show record and you could get away next to asking $5000 or more for him but your right the horse market sucks right now. If you could I would like to see a picture of him and I can endow with you a closer estimate.
Answers: Like a million dollars!! OMG he sounds so dependable. I have been riding for six years (but im still practically a beginner) and i am looking for a first horse. Man whether one like him came up in the listings i would probably enjoy a heart attack from excitement! You seriously dont know how jealous i am! WOW. I am looking for a horse for under $500 but seriously I think you get a wicked bargain with this guy.
EDIT: oh yeah, a horse similar to that where i live would be like 6-8k
And he is coloured too. WOW. The perfect horse.
Have fun next to him.
Hey
Well he sounds like a good horse and I would definetly pay at smallest 1K for him. Seeing as he sounds well trained and that you could probably sell him for $4500. He would make a right pony for a kid or a cutting/capdrafting mount for an adult.
I would definetly pay at least $3000 whether I had the money ;) and if I needed another horse my my kids or for cow realted stock work. You should defiently get what he is worth and $1000 is such a quibble considernig he sounds great. Yeah probably would pay $2500-$4500 depending on my financial situation and on what I needed him for.
He sounds like the perfect horse to memorize on and hat is what beginners should get and should want. People who cannot ride should not get crazy things that you solely learn how to hang onto on. Well dont for getting a horse and learning to ride. Good luck within the future and I hope I answered you question.
Registration alone will make him at least 2k.
He sounds very pacify and willing, and since he is young, he sounds like he is capably started off. I would just make certain that you keep riding with him and I would suggest programme to advance him and you.
If you found out his pedigree for sure that would be a bonus.
Here in NY (we hold a sort of crappy market as well now) Anywhere from $2500-$4500. The more expensive pushes it though. If he was mine and trying to supply ( I know your now planning to sell ) I would go for $3000 and embezzle the best offer given.
And to who ever said that you do not know how western show horses compare to english ones, yes they do cost up to 20,000 sometimes. Many more. You often have to buy a yearling for 7500 beforehand it is even trained and has any experience. I am not saying that english horses do not cost a lot because I know they do, but I cannot stand it when empire diss western horses, and they do not even know.
