How to look more similar to a horseback rider?

Does anyone else think that horseback riders have a certain "look"? How do I procure that "look"? *I don't have my own horse*
I always wear boot cut jeans. I used to volunteer to verbs stalls at the riding stable nearby so I could ride free when I was contained by school, didn't own a horse then. I don't think in that is a "look" as much as how you feel. Cowboys just wear jeans. That is providing you like western. I've ridden English but prefer and trained western, roping, vat racing, trail rides, etc.. When working with horses I wear jeans and a t-shirt. On trail rides or leading horse hikes (camping trips) layered on a button shirt and denim jacket. Boots unsurprisingly, but I generally don't wear them other than riding and training. Always wear a helmet.
Well, yeah. Anyone who rides qualifies as a horseback rider. I mean, you can't call upon yourself a horseperson if the only time you've ridden was on a pony at a six year old's birthday get-together, but someone who takes lessons is definitely a rider. Was someone making fun of you or something, or are you of late curious? As far as "the look" goes, jhodpurs are always helpful, and soaring boots or paddock boots are necessary for riding regardless. Wisps of hay in your hair and some horse snot on your shirt is flexible, although it does really pull the outfit together, I think.
Haha the look of not civilized what we look like as long as our horse looks perfect and their stall is clean adequate for us to live in?? haha is that the look your going for?

But honestly, I ride in my old university jeans because the riding jeans are typically higher rises if they are the cheaper Wranglers so they dig into your stomach when you ride and the more expensive ones (like my Wrangler Q-Babys--which are so comfy FYI!) I preserve for showing, cuz there is no point wearing 70 or 80 dollar jeans to the barn everyday when its my horse and a bunch of other horse people lol! And in the summer I wear a cistern top, in the fall and spring its a sweater and in the winter I bundle up so you couldnt really enlighten what im wearing...I am always in my cowboy boots in the barn or my Ropers (love them!) That I suppose is the look of a horseback rider?? Honestly I hold never seen anyone look like horseback riders look on TV (even the english riders dont ride in their breeches, button shirts and jacket everyday!!) haha...

Even the cowboys around here love it when we go trail riding in the summer and the girls ride bareack and wear cut-offs, tank tops next to bikinis under them and cowboy boots--that way you take sour the boots and ride into the lake/river/whatever's the closest water source!! Its much easier than trying to take off soaking drizzly full length jeans--eek! haha The main thing is to not care what you look like--i find i finale up looking the best when i really couldnt care less about it haha

And yes, you can still name yourself a horseback rider if you are taking weekly lessons!
When I ride I wear these pants from GAP and a sweatshirt w/ chap. I look crazy but honestly I couldn't care less.

I love the smell of horses and sometimes I rub horse feed on my hand to get the smell. )I am NOT wierd...I jsut love horses.

TIP: The leggings and pants from GAP and other stores make AWESOME riding pant in the summer. 'Cause unlike breeches and tights, they are airy and don't stick to the skin (they are like $10 a pair and come surrounded by GREAT patterns...). The disclaimer: you have to be familiar with riding to a lasting degree 'cause otherwise you slip 'n slide in the saddle!
It doesn't matter what you look like. All that matters is that you love horses no situation what. When I ride, I just wear my regular clothes. Who cares as long as YOU are happy. Just do what you have a feeling is best.
I have an idea that you are trying to get the look you think is the style of riding you are doing.

if you are english, capture some good old strech pants from walmart contained by tan , black or white, get some high boots that are nearly to your knee they sell those at walmart as well ( since it is winter) and get hold of a polo collar type shirt. pull your hair back into a bun . within you have it you will look like an english rider.

if you are western rider, correct old blue jeans , some cowboy boots. , and wear a long sleeved collar shirt., and pull your hair vertebrae in a pony tail.

Girl you going to get dirty, so keep the clothes cheap .

And yes you are a rider even whether you don't ride for 6 months to a few years. it is about a passion not how often you do it.
If you've got dirt under your fingernails and mud on your boots afterwards you've got "the look"! Haha.

Don't worry about not have your own horse. If you love horses and you love to ride then you a genuine rider through and through :D
Charlie Schreiner (YO Ranch) used to say, "Between the tennis shoes and the bubble caps I can't tell my cowboys from the camp counselors."

The unadulterated 'Look" comes from the physical characteristics you develop from the exercise you get riding. Riding works/develops some muscles
that are less developed in folks that don't ride that build for some subtle difference in the way you walk, stand, etc...
I don't give attention to there is a 'look'. I don't even look like I own a horse when I'm not in the barn or going to tractor supply lol. When I ride I purely ride in jeans and tall mountain horse boots in the spring plummet and winter and in the summer I ride in jeans, boots and hlaf chaps but whether I'm going somewhere, that doesn't have to do with horses I generally don't wear my barn clothes lol
of course you are a horseback rider, tons of nation don't own horses. i don't own a horse and i have been riding for almost 7 years. i don't surmise they really have a "look". if you're talking going on for what they wear riding, most people i know wear jodhpurs and half-chaps.
u are totally a horseback rider!! and dont permit anyone tell u other wise! i have my own horse bu ti havent other and i have always been a horse being and rider the look doest matter so much lol heres what i wear if this helps!

and that would be the wardrobe of a horse gurlie perfect luck creating u look! oh and i always wear my hair down {its long wavy and chestnutty gourgouse whether i do say so myself! ;)} or in a loose ponytail
Honestly i don't think you should verbs about how you look when you ride all that really matters is that you love horses and love riding a short time ago have a passion for what you do then it shouldn't issue how you look!

If you want to look like a real horse personage, follow these steps:

1. Groom a horse and get full of dust/fur.
2. Muck out the stable
3. Fall off whilst riding - preferably into a muddy patch.
4. Fall past its sell-by date again - preferably in another position
4. Walk in some manure
5. Scratch your horse's penchant spot with your fingernails
6. Roll in the hay barn

Yay! You have in a minute completed your horserider look challenge!

Now seriously, all you need is to FEEL the trickery of being with horses, then adjectives the rest will follow naturally.
