How would you treat a yearling thoroughbred's hip ?

we acquired a year and half old filly thoroughbred as a rescue.the mother died during foaling.I first saw 'LACY ' contained by a pasture w/two much older horses.she swayed from malnutrition.skin and bones..lacy was grossly underweight and our vet stated she is growth stunted .we've put on in the order of 150lbs.to her body weight and her coat, mane and tail are are coming along nicely.her height have shot up as well.her hips are so narrow, they crack and pop.a few days ago her left hip seem to be popping out of socket .in need of advice and feedback.
I actually know someone that had a horse with like peas in a pod problem. There is surgery that can be preformed, but it costs a lot and it's dangerous. I'm not sure how close you are to your horse, but my friend be very close to her horse. The only problem was, she didn't own enough money so she borrowed some. She got the operation done, but after a while the hip popped back incompatible and she couldn't pay for the operation again and she didn't want to have it fail, so she put her horse down. I propose you talk it over with your vet and see what you should do.

Best regards
I'd call the vet right back out. It could be a condition that wishes surgery to smooth out the hip joint, it be that she's grown so much so quickly its creating issues, it could be a phase she's going through, or a number of other issues.

Mostly imagined it is something that will need professional help to fix and certainly requests a professional diagnos. Good Luck!
Answers:    I wouldn't treat it at adjectives - I'd get that vet back in and consent to him take a look.
