I may finally be capable of procure a horse?
so here's the deal, im 16 , and took riding lessons for 6 or 7 years and LOVE horses. recently i notice a house about 1/2 a mile from my house is boarding horses, and they have a nice big field for them to live surrounded by.
finding a place to keep the horse has always be my biggest problem in getting one. i live in the city, so its really hard to find a place approaching that. and i have a job, so within a couple months i have a sneaking suspicion that i could save up enough money for a 1000 dollar or so gentle, sweet mare.
my parents said i could , whether i buy it myself, and they agreed to help pay for food/vet bills etc as long as i paid 'rent' for the pasture!
do you suppose i could do this if i really put my mind to saving up?
by the looks of the house/pasture i doubt the rent is that expensive and since i own a job, i think i could pay for it no problem :)
eeeee! im excited!
horses=amazing :DDDDD
i think you can do it!
(: im so excited for you! good luck and best of wishes :)
Do they enjoy a shelter for your horse to go under in unpromising weather or just the open pasture? If they have a shelter and everything seem good ---HORRAY FOR YOU!
I'm still deciding exactly what I am looking for contained by a horse, so I'm just enjoying my lesson horse for now.
Make certain you also know where the best horse vets are in your city.
yepp that worked for me! i am getting my 4th horse surrounded by a couple weeks
I think you could do it. I enjoy 2 horses and have had them for 3 years (I am 12). Just remember that boarding a horse costs quite a bit of money because the owners own to pay for everything.
dont articulate you think you can pay for it because it can get markedly expensive, if your horse has to be moved from pasture to stall for some reason..
You can probably recompense for the horse but just remember that 1000 may resort to an untrained horse! be careful! save up 1500 more at smallest.. if you want one trained.
hope this helps.
NO FAIR! :O I want a horse so doomed to failure... i say go for it unless you will never ever be there to lug care of the horse... horses need a lot o' love
:)
turn for it! horses are such great animals.
Hope u get to get a horse!
I think it sounds like a great idea. Good luck!
Answers: It's expensive! give or take a few the same as a car payment for a Lexus! Try to grasp a job cleaning the field, picking up rocks, whatever the barn owner have that is safe for you to do, and that might help hold on to your costs down. I work 2 10 hour days to help keep my costs down. It might help to not describe your folks how much it is really going to cost! If they knew, they wouldn't be so quick to say it's ok...
i like horses
If your parents are as supportive as they nouns then go for it.
Every girl should have horse whether they want one. :D
