Is it ok 2 wear breechs 4 western riding?
yeah but it ain't gonna be comfortable
Yeah it's fine I do it in the winter because breeches are space heater then jeans of course don't do it in a show and also you can ride contained by your english boots when you ride western it is a little safer because those boots are thinner and you don't h ave to worry about getting caught contained by the stirrups also don't wear fat babys when you ride they are to thick
it is ok..but i would not reccomned it in shows...loll!:)
Yes, Feel free to mix and match. I wear breeches for my western course..But then again I don't really take western lessons.
yeah of curse but u should have a proper western outfit for riding surrounded by shows
alot of peaple ride in breeches in western coz i ride english i also do a tiny bit of stock and western and i wear them =]
not for showing, you would most likly procure marked down and look like a fool lol. but yes whether your just rideing for fun lol.
Answers: No reason why not. Lots of people have said not while showing, but whether you wear chaps, the only part to be precise visible is your bottom, and so long as the breeches coordinate with the top part of your outfit, it probably wouldn't be a huge matter. Many many years ago (Dern, I'm OLD) when I showed 4-H, in the versatility show pretty much all of the competitors wore breeches and later put chaps over for the western events. (Competitors showed western, english, jumping, reining, and barrel race, and could not leave the ring in between competitions)
For show I wouldnt but whether you are just riding then yeah, why not?
I have wore them and english boots to, people look at you funny tho.
yeah breeches are comfy and honourable for gripping.
I don't see why not. Then agian I ride English. I wouldn't wear them for a western show though.
