You don't read aloud what you're interested in using him for, so it's a bit hard to say. He looks short-hipped and a bit long back, but the pics not the greatest. I have to say in this horse open market, for a gelding (unless he has a show record out the ying yang) that $3,900 is extremely pricey! Also, his color (being a buckskin) doesn't have anything to do next to his conformation.

Im not sure about conformations and * but i would of late like to say that his wither is high, its isn't doomed to failure but the only thing u may have to but is a riser wad u can get from a saddlery or horse land.
Se how in the picture his wither come above his nouns line.
or get the saddle fitted if ur going to buy him specifically.
I don't care about conformation, a horse is a horse, and if he is a well brought-up horse he is Perfect even if it has a bad conformation.

It depends what you are using him for. He is a little light in the collar and too tall for reining or barrels (he may succeed in small shows but he will not be competitive in substantial ones).
Debi is correct in that he is overpriced. That much money can buy a trained and successful horse.

First thing I notice be his withers, wow they are tall. And the next be the very high price way to much for him. Way to much. Love the coloring. Hard to report to for sure, not sure if his hooves are to long or here is a problem with the front hooves, check it out.
From what I can tell he has a very nice conformation. High wither are great for jumpers but are fine for other things too. Building a little more muscle in the nouns might be nice.
I think he is a Beautiful horse! I think he has flawless conframation and he does have a high wither but that doesnt really matter you near just need a small sadddle which is easy to find! apt luck and i hope you get him!! :]

he does have a high wither, but that is not a discouraging thing! it means you wont have trouble near your saddle slipping,
he seems to have a good length of hindmost and neck, and no funny bumbs anywhere, best thing is to go and see him contained by person, maybe take your trainer near you

I think he is totally beautiful,I LuV buckskins. And he looks okay to me. Don't let other people deside for you,you hold to make your own decision in the downfall.
I think he is a good looking horse. If he is gentle and appropriate natured that means a lot when your on his back.
Not bad looking, but I'd be more concerned over his HYPP status. Find out if he has be tested. If he carries the genes for it, I would think long and hard around buying.
Answers: I believe he looks pretty darn good until you get to his flank. I like his wither, they are well defined. They happen to go fund a ways (my horse does this also) into what you would think of as his back, and then whether you look closely at his croup, to find the end of his back, I do not think he have a long back. Its not short, but not abnormally long. I do, however, think he have a weak hip. I like the slope of his shoulder and I think I close to the slope of his pasterns, its hard to tell in the picture whether they might be too long. All in all, I don't think he is a discouraging horse, but I do think he is WAY OVERPRICED.
There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with him when you go to have a look whip someone who no's allot about horses.
He defiantly ain't no mule you dumbos! He's a cute horse. I love buckskins. They just took the picture when he be standing wrong. Gesh. He looks like a nice ride. Nice and tall and strong. Looks like a suitable HORSE to me.
