Answers: A vice is anything a horse uses to escape an unpleasant situation (including doing what is asked of them). They can be mental or physical. They include the windsucking, cribbing, and everything else mentioned, as well as cow kicking when cinched, kicking or other aggression towards other horses, to some more strange ones such as intentionally dumping a rider into the water if allowed to take a drink, rolling, bucking during undisputed activities. etc.
