What horse breed do you expect would suit me best?

I am an Advanced intermediate rider and I love barrel racing and jumping (I know - lol), I am a follower of all coat colors (Especially pintos!) I like sweet loyal horses, hope that'll do 4 details!
Depending on your height/size, it shouldn't really matter what type of horse you draw from. If you like paints then look for a paint that can do barrels, you can probably teach it to leap or try to find one that can jump. I ride a tricolor paint at the barn I ride at and he is so sweet and really loyal, after you ride him a couple times he is totally in your pocket and wants to be your best friend. That's simply one horse but I've heard that all paints are generally close to that.
I really hope I helped!
Any horse can do anything, and it all depends on the individual horse. I consider you mean the breed in general. Quarter horses and paints tend to be unruffled and extremely versatile. They also come in a range of height. The only thing I would reccomend if getting any horse beside QH or Paint blood is to watch out for the stallion "Impressive" in the pedigree. Impressive was a stallion that have a genetic mutation causing him to pass on a disease called HYPP (HYperlakemic Periodic Paralysis). It's a horrible disease that cause the horse to have seisures at random, unpredictable times. They lose control of their bodies yet they are still concious and can quality pain. Not all Impressive bred horses have HYPP, and in attendance is a test for it. Horses are either HH, NH, or NN. HH and NH horses have it. NNs do not. Make certain that the horse has papers that prove he was tested NN. Good luck!
one of my horses i use for barrel racing/speed events/rodeo (but she is great at everything/anything) and she is a QH/Arabian mix.-great barrel horse and ok at jumping some sorts of things.
Hi,
I have four horses and all are exceedingly different personalities. I would strongly suggest finding a horse that you "click" with until that time a specific breed or color. If you like speed events you might want to look into a cross, maybe a Arab/QH? Do you want to do speed events, jumping trail or ? There are masses breeds that "can do it all". Pinto is a color breed like a Palomino.
Talk to people and try to ride different breeds. You will be surprised at what you find you like and don't resembling.
Good luck!

Answers:    No Breed.
Just that horse.
The one that catches your and eye and you will merely know he/she is the one, the one you will take everywhere and love for the rest of yours life.
paints are good for barell racing and some jump, but you really cant bring a horse that is good at both barell racing and jump. If you want a loyal horse try an arabian. I have a paint/arab mix, and i was on a trail ride with my friend nowadays and i got off of my horse to check if his leg be alright and he took off and after he ran around the feild with my friend chasing him on her horse he saw me and run straight to me bc he is very loyal(although he took off, i think he took stale bc he has that mischevious playful side to him, and hes only two) and he has a paint coat too. If you want a jersey try a TB, although they are very high strung(like arabians) they jump great. A paint cross(pinto) would be great contained by the show ring bc they are very flashy!

but also keep in intellect that some horses, even though the breed is known for something, may excell in different sports.

good luck finding the right horse!
answer my cross-question please!

Breed doesn't matter, but if you close to pintos, a Paint would be suitable.
i propose a tb/qh mix QH's are awesome barrel horses and good jumpers and tb's own the speed and heighth for jumping.
Well, Quarter horses are good all around horses, and they are calm. Arabians are one and the same, but less stocky, so barrels might be harder. Paints could be good, similar traits to the QH, but a little more stubborn. I Think a Thoroughbred, or TB cross next to any of these would be great! But, really, you could do most any breed.
