What horse should i bring back?

ok well i really want a horse and i dont know which one to get? i want to ride western, trail rides, and maybe some jump
I Think You Should Get A Quarter Horse , They Are Good At Jumping And Good For Riding Western
if you haven't already taken lesson I suggest taking them first; you might end up not appetite horseback riding and not take care of your new horse. But I f you own I suggest that you go to either a boarding steady or breeders (depending on what level you are on, boarding stable ir you are beginner) and see the horses for sale. i recommend the quarter horse for western but nearby are tons of other breeds such as the Appaloosa and american paint.

Have fun with your new horse/pony!
any number of all around breeds would be good for you. Any horse can trail ride, most look fine within a western saddle, and any horse can jump a couple of feet high.
OK, this is a reeeeeaaaallly general question! Choosing a horse takes plentifully of time. You also didn't say what kind of rider you currently are. So, I would suggest reading some books on Choosing a horse. There's one Called "Be A smart Horse buyer" by Bob Avila, I reason. It's very good. Also, if you don't already own riding experience, I would say you should take lessons for a few years, or better nonetheless, lease for a year or two before you buy. Horses are expensive, and complex, and can be really dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. No one can narrate you what horse to get. You,with the help of a dutiful trainer, need to make that choice. But, I will say one item that I hope you remember...Green Riders should never...EVER buy a green horse! 0 exceptions! If you have been riding seriously for less than 3 years, you are probably a neophyte, or green rider, and should but a calm horse to learn o...not a flashy, hyper Stallion...please!

As for breed, I would suggest..anything! The most far-reaching thing about a horse is his temperament and training. Best of Luck finding a sane, sound, and suitable horse to be your current BFF!
Answers:    Here are my suggestions.
Thoroughbred: Easy to take care of. They Jump they do western they are quiet and can be immensely cheap!

Quarter Horse: Amazing Western Pleasure horse. Quiet on trails not amazing jumpers but they will go over some small fences

Hope this help!
I highly recommend a quarter horse.

Mine jumps 2 foot, rides western, english, and bareback,(when I first got her she couldn't even walk over a pole so it might take some time!)

economically good luck.
Getting a horse is a major expense and responsbilty, it is way different then riding 4 times a year. Take module and then find out what you really want. My friend rides on AVERAGE 1-2 months a year. She wanted a horse, so she got one..turns out she didn;t resembling riding everyday and paying so much $$ so guess what happened? BYE BYE horsey. You don;t have nearly enough of experience to know how to say whether you want a horse or not.
i would stir with a quarter horse i have one thT 15.2 HANDS and she jumps 3 foot and loves the trails alone or with others and rides both english and western
well first you may want to converse to the neighbour first also since he or she has first hand experence... first of all i reflect on my horse is pretty much perfect for me and im not even the one who picked her out!! she is very mellow and sweet she is the perfect size for me 14.3 hand... she is both english and western... i trained her for english wihile i was also learning. so basically she is sweet, kind , melow, trusting, an a fast learner (she is a Quarter horse) so that is basically the foolproof first horse... ;)
riding 4 times a year IS NOT LONG ENOUGH 2 BUY A HORSE. if you want buy a horse u should be riding at least twice a week.
What are some ways to stengthen my horse's shoulder muscles?   Stall fronts for a Horse Stall?   Would you consider this to be horse invective?   What do u requirement for a GREAT lack of complaint ride????
