kkk iam looking for a horse that i could take to boarding school..
i know how tho wander...trot...canter...and jump i know all that basics...i am currentally taking module so i am pretty good at western but i want english i hope that you can help:)
they all look really nice. if i had to pick one self say the 1st one or the gray TB.
ive had a 7 y/o bay QH since demonstration. he used to be western, so thats all he knew, which didnt help me. and later the lady who bought him before me didnt ride him because he was too much. so by the time he get to me, he knew how to walk and trot, and a bit of cantering. no jump. and he was VERY lazy. well he still is, but he be more so then.
now i jump 2'6" courses beside him, and im sure my trainer could do even more, because im still getting back into jumping and im not the best :]. he walk trots and canters nicely now, bending and on the bit. He is incredibly low and easy moving, and obviously a quick learner. hes is simply amazing on the trails, and nearly never ever EVER spooks at anything. calmest horse at my barn. only problem is he bites, REALLY bad and hes very aggressive beside it.
biggest show that ive been able to do with him is the Dutchess County Fair. within each class i did (all flat, we werent that good at jump then) out of 30-40 people i placed. every single class exept one (i broke into a trot exactly infront of the judge) i get a ribbon, and i got 2 firsts, 2 2nd, 1 5th and 1 6th. that was our first show ever.
i think QH are amazing horses and they arent in recent times flat ones, my friends QH jumps 5' with her. they are also very sturdy.
I would get this one,( http://horsetopia.horse-for-sale.org/cla... ) The appy,if I be you. I think he has the best confo, but it's really hard to recount as there aren't very many great confo shots of any of these horses. I reckon most would suit you best, but If I were you I'd keep looking...do you just look at horsetopia? There are other sites out nearby like equine.com,equinehits.com,dreamhorse.com... Good Luck!
Answers: I'd go next to Dixie Cheer, the dapple gelding in Maryland. He's a beauty. In fact, whether you decide not to get him, Let me know. I'll take him! He's gorgeous. If you be in a class I was judge, He would definitely make me notice you.. I enjoy a thing for greys.. lol
i like the 2nd. He looks as if hes had lots of show experience and a nice quieten boy
They all look average. Nothing too remarkable about any of them, surrounded by my opinion. I would go ride the ones you are interested in, and walk for the one that suits you best.
i approaching the first horse...it was very pretty and it had a tremendously shiny coat! =]
if i had to choose i would pick the first
but dont just settle near these
try looking on dreamhorse.com
there is an advanced search where you can choose that you want a hunter
