plastic curry comb: used to brush through tail and mane in muddy conditions or really knotty conditions. it is oval, and obviously, made out of plastic lol. it has resembling spikes on it
rubber curry comb: used to remove mud from a horses coat (not legs). it can also be used to massage the body aswell.
metal curry comb: used to clean your other brushes. don't use on the horse it will really hurt them
so in adjectives, a curry comb is a grooming brush for the horses

They used to be metal with a handle. Some were square shaped next to a "comb" for the mane and table, some were circular all had little teeth that relief in breaking up all the dirt on your horse's coat.
Nowadays, they are round, oval shaped stil with the little teeth or some own bristles made of plastic. GREAT for when you're washing your horse and getting down deep to the skin and removing all the grime.
its a brush for horses. Its the first brush you should use when grooming a horse. You use that brush to get the dirt out of the horses coat and then you use the frozen bristle brush to get the dirt of the horses back or where ever you used the curry comb. A.K.A it is a brush used for getting the dirt of the horses coat because it can pack up contained by there and that's not good so you use the curry comb in writ to protect the horse and get the dirt off its coat.

So, bring up the dirt with a curry used contained by a circular motion & sweep off the dirt with a body brush.Use a finishing brush or a towel for final dust removal. Clean a curry comb intermittently by hitting it on the bottom of your boot. They are also great in the Spring for helping to take rid of Winter coats & you will see them fill rapidly with mane. They are an important tool in your tack box. Some are made for smaller hands. Thre are also "mitts" out nearby that slip over your hand. They are OK , too.

It is an oval shaped rubber brush designed to fit inthe palm of your hand near a strap to hold it in place. You use it to brush in circular motions to remove dead fleece, dirt, sweat, and other 'stuff' from the horses coat before you brush them with regular brushes!
a curry comb is used on horses to take the loose hairs off of them. i grew up on a sheep farm with work horses.
You use it in a circular motion on a horse and it gets off any departed hair that they might be shedding as well as it loosens dirt so that you can back over the horse near a dandy brush and that's just a big soft brush that sweeps the dirt off.
