What is a Pony club rating?
College Equestrian Team
D1, D2, C1, C2, B1, B2, A1, A2 unmatched. Then there something else at the A level. Those are the pony club ratings I remember.
You mean pony club level? It go E, D, D1, D2, C, C1, C2, B, HB something (there are I believe three levels for B and they have different names, don't remember, same near the A levels).
Each level requires something the same as the last, but more detailed- for steady management. Same goes for riding except the jump get bigger with the levels.

Do you mean the test that you can take? if you do then-
E, D, D+, C, C+, B, B+, A, A+
starting with the easiest which is open for little kids..
Answers: Pony Club ratings are the different levels of riding and horse management you can achieve whether you are a member of a Pony Club. It really has nothing to do next to college equestrian teams, so I'm not sure what you mean by that.
You can find adjectives of the riding and horse management skills needed to pass each U.S. stratum at: www.ponyclub.org. Look under the forms or publications tab for "standards of proficiency" or "D flowchart, C flowchart" etc. There are also some other links you might find useful.
When a pony club member go for a rating, he/she must be ready to ride all the requirements of the rating, and it also takes a meaningful amount of time to study for the horse management skills portion of the test. The requirements increase in difficulty as the ratings turn higher. If you fail any portion of the rating, you fail the in one piece thing.
