What is an equine clinician?

I've been around horses my whole life, but never hear of this particular job before. What are they and what do they do?
Clinicians are glorified teachers. Usually they are from out of the area. The equine sort are likely to hold their clinic within an indoor arena. There can be clinics on any sort of riding or horse related concern, i.e: dressage, barrel racing, 4-H vet clinic, Pony Club has lots. Clinicians educate whatever area they are paid to edify about.
A clinician is a trainer or professional rider who gives occasional group module at shows or a host farm. A clinician normally travels to the location of the clinic (so it's not at their home base), and riders from many barns participate. Interested parties are usually competent to audit the clinic for free or a small charge. George Morris, Geoff Teall, Jeff Cook, and Frank Madden are some prominent hunt-seat clinicians.
Answers:    These type appear to be the most common at the moment but they have the power to assume pleasing forms.LOL

Looks like a throwback from a Texas cattle farm, despite the fact that he grew up in the suburbs of NJ. Rope coiled loosely in foot (don't want to send any messages of tension, after all) in covering he needs to herd any of those kids on rollerblades away from his/her F-350 dually within the WalMart parking lot. Cowboy hat is strategically placed, and just soiled plenty to be cool. Wranglers are well worn, with that little wrinkle above the instep of the ropers, and lots of dust (well, you know, from the round pen) on the lower legs.
