What is an interchangeable gullet system?
Does it make your saddle have a narrow, prevailing conditions or wide width tree? If not, what does it do to your saddle when you change it?
an interchangeable gullet system means that you can change the gullet in the saddle so that it fits any horse. Most saddle like the wintec are easy enough to fine-tuning yourself, but some do need a master saddler to change them.
An interchangeable gullet system is made for synthetic saddle because their trees are synthetic and can't adjust to varying types of horses. It can go from a narrow to a wide tree supposedly BUT you own to have a saddler do the changes.
I'd stick with a European LEATHER saddle near the old standby FLEX trees. My old Siegfried's been used on OTTBs, OTQHs adjectives the way to Arabs and even some old style bull dog QHs with fit NEVER person an issue.
Answers: The gullet systems are showing up on increasingly saddles. even Pessoa has one now. You buy different widths of gullets and can fairly simply change out widths if you ride multiple horses, or whether your horse had a weight, body condition or growth change. It can relief fit a saddle better to a horse, but it will not fix every problem so having a fitter work with you will be help.
