What is some things that I'd call for for serenity riding?

Not the obvious things such as a saddle, bridle, halter, grain, boots, leg wraps, etc.
Not the obvious things please.

I know I also obligation saddle bags and also a fleece cooler, but besides that what else would I need? I have easyboots too so near is no need to list those three things.

(I am being sponsored by a friend who's a vet so she should serve me out with everything I am just asking ahead of time.)
A saddle with "center fire rigging".

I know you said not an obvious entry, but many people do not know about the center fire rig on an staying power saddle.

I was told this by a woman that builds saddles and she did a clinic at MSU on different types of saddles and fiding the best fit for your horse. She said that center fire be actually the most comfortable rigging for a horse and a roping saddle was the worst. And since endurance horses are on the move adjectives of the time, CFR helps with their respiration. It also helps next to the saddle staying in better position. It puts more equal amount of pressue on the horses back, unless the saddle is ill fitting to start with. If thats the case you need to find a saddle that fits very well before you cinch it up. Thats all I know, but I got the info from a credible source. She said anyone doing tolerance should have a CFR saddle.
extra buckets for water
a bucket near a water/alcohol solution to help evaporate sweat
sponge
electrolytes
desetin to prevent scratches on legs (especially on white legs)
snacks for you!
a crupper for going downhill if your horse have low withers

Answers:    You need a sponge next to a ring and a long string attached. That way when you get to cooling stations, you can just dunk your sponge from horseback, yank it up using the string, and sponge some water on your horse before moving on. You'll also want to carry a hoofpick beside you.

You'll need a portable electric fence, a set of corral panels, or the expertise to leave your horse picketed overnight. Most rides require you to be there the night beforehand and stay, but don't provide stabling or anything. On that note, you'll also need all the equipment for you to spend the hours of darkness, too - tent, sleeping bag, lantern, toothbrush, etc.

You didn't mention electrolytes as "obvious" but they kind of are. Also, of course a glorious level of fitness for both your horse and yourself.

I have done up to 25 mile rides and did not carry saddle plenty. The organizers had a few refreshment stations along the way, so I did not get any food or water with me. You don't want to load your horse down beside things you don't really need.
