Who would YOU pick??

Ok well see I have been showing Hy-Ho for a while in a minute ( and 18 year old arab standardbred) who is very light sided ( which I similar to about her) but she is unpredictable ( sometimes will take off ) later my trainer will need to ride her for like 15 mins before I obtain back on. She does not have the sweet personailty (like some other horses I know) but she is kind of similar to one of those stuck up horses ( which I love about her, she is a total alfa to the other horses).

On the other hand there is Bebe ( another arab, but she does not own the arabian personality) She is white. But I never really connected with her, she seems to not really care in the order of anything, which I don't really like. What I do like about her is that she is REALLY dependable ( doesn't lug off, doesn't buck).

I am not going to do what you say, but I want to know who you would show or who you would pick as YOUR horse.
THANKS!!
In my opinion they are both honourable choices to a certain extent.

From a showing aspect Bebe sounds like a more suitable mount. If you are new to showing consequently I suggest something that is predictable and dependable. You may not like it, but you inevitability to gain your experience first before attempting to try and show a horse that is so unpredictable. Plus, it is not fair to the other riders whether you have a horse you know acts that way. Hy-ho can set past its sell-by date other horses and in my opinion is not fair to the other competitors. Its impossible to tip off everyone at the show to give you space or stay away from you.

BUT...

From a learning aspect Hy-ho is a stand up to that you could probably learn a lot from. Since you mentioned your trainer has to sometimes grasp on her during your lesson then I don't think it would be appropriate to take a horse to a show that you can not control completely. However, once you hold gained showing confidence and know your way around and are comfortable in the ring, consequently you can step up to showing a horse that's a "challenge" ONLY if you can control her at home without your trainer have to sit on her.

Both horses have things to teach you and I would suggest to ride both of them. Bebe to focus on your riding and form and Hy-ho to teach you how to handle a horse of her character.

Any horse that will bolt on you is evidently a horse you don't need to ride at this stage of your learning. I'd move about with Bebe so you can enjoy a horse who's quiet and dependable 99% of the time (No horse is completely dependable.).

I'd win Bebe, and work on my equitation FIRST, then once you've done all you can with him, after move onto another horse.
It depends who you feel more comfortable on. If you are comfortable, you won't be as nervous and you will accomplish better. Put personal connections aside and show who you feel safe on. You will pin better when you are not afraid/worried.
Well, not being 100% Arabian really is a downer, but I would go with Hy-Ho and a moment ago work with her more. See if your trainer can work with you more to consent to you know exactly what she is doing during those 15 minutes so you can do it instead.

Spunky horses are fun!
I take personality over predictability every time. A horse next to pizazz is just unbeatable. I love the fact that my Arab is so friggin smart, that she make me laugh (and sometimes cry in frustration) and that she is the most loyal critter I've ever had the pleasure of riding.

It would depend on your confidence as a rider and your training. You inevitability to have the confidence to correct a spunky horse and the training to do it right or you will end up next to one heck of a mess.

Ps- That video is just too cute. That reminds me of this Arab named Flex who was the biggest confront for me as I was learning, but that I LOVED to death. I would own gladly eaten dirt off that horse four times a daylight before riding some of the schoolmasters. You sound like you've already made up your intellect to show Hy-ho, so do it! :)
I would choose Hy-Ho.
But she's got a express lope in the video.

So I would want to see Bebe moving before I made a final choice. But just for your interview, based on your descriptions, it would be Hy-Ho.

I would pick neither. The first horse is too old for what I personally do (barrel race) and if you can't feel the horse that isnt good either. The second horse seem too boring. I suggest you find one that matches your standards completely. Why settle for less? theres tons of horses out at hand some are $45,000 and some are free so buying a horse for as cheap should not be an issue :] goodluck!
I would do Bebe because horses that will take off are not good at shows. You will be disqualified whether that happens.
Answers:    you really need to chose a horse that you click next to, i had a horse at my riding barn that i LOVED and she was a total Bi**h but i love that about her LMAO she be undependable when it came to jumps but i still oved her it offered some excitement

if you travel with the horse that dose it all what happens next to you get a problem horse down the future and you don't know how to fix it ?? how do you think your trainer get so good ? by riding problem hoses and working through the probs

id go wiht the first one whether i were you

anwser mine pleas !! http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...
Get a gelding :).
Out of those two, I would get Bebe. You said it yourself: you aren't able to handle Hy-Ho adjectives of the time. If you need an instructor to ride her for you, she isn't the horse for you until you become more advanced. Bebe doesn't have to be a horse you're going to keep forever. Ask your trainer whether you can lease and show Bebe until you're advanced enough to handle Hy-Ho.
A dependable horse is what most people look for to show and hold as a first horse. Bebe wins that one. Take your time with her, I'm sure she's going to be a blast once you find to know her better (wow, that sounds like a dating advice column!).
i would maybe try hy-ho because u click with her which is exceedingly important. i think that once you become a better rider you will be able to stop unpredictable things from taking place as much.
