9 year ancient cattle farm horse near lower ring bone, looking for information in relation to treatment.?
I just recently bought this horse, I knew that he have issue with his right front foot. The place I am presently boarding him at is bound and determined that he was foundered at first, and is now axiom he has ring bone. I'm not saying he doesn't have ring bone and it as it looks it is lower. He use to be a smallholding horse for 7 years, I am only planning on using him for pleasure riding. Not doing any hard work with him at adjectives. He is sore that is plan to see, but his right foot is to short to put a shoe on it with out a fear of cause more pain. Does anyone have any thoughts on what to do, and is there treatment surrounded by just shoeing him and not having surgery done.
Answers: I think you should hold a vet who specializes in horses look at your horse. And follow through with his/her recommendations.
