A big spider within my room?
last night he came crawling contained by my room, the biggest ugliest white looking spider i have ever seen. So i put a plastic clear cup over him. And its been the in one piece night and this morning he is still alive! How long until he suffocates so that I can vacuum him up???

Usually when I see bugs I first spray them with bug spray then cover them near a jar or something. The next morning they're dead and can be discarded.
However, as others said you can carry it external since spiders are generally beneficial. Interesting that it is big and white. I wonder if its an albino. I don't know of any big white spiders.

Take a piece of sturdy paper and slip it under the cup. Then fetch the thing outside, far away from your windowpane and let it go. I understand it's a spider, but they are really beneficial. Besides suffocation, starvation, or lack of water is a cruel means of access for anything to die.

First of all, put yourself in the spider's position. You, wouldn't be capable of help being big or ugly, and you wouldn't appreciate self shoved in some container where there is only about zero oxygen, food, or water.
Now, the best item to do is to putit back where you found it, but knowing that you probably won't want it there, put it external. There it can find somewhere new to live. Phew.

Well, take a piece of sturdy paper and slowly slide it under the cup, and consequently take it outside... please dont kill an harmless life. He was just contained by your house because ur hose id probally warm and you have food, and you should be gratefull for that.
