A few sudden question just about rabbits..…
1.Can they see in the dark?
2.Will the mothers eat the babies whether a human touches it?
3.Will 2 males kill each other in alike cage?
4.Do they see in color?
5.Can they learn their own heading?
Answers: Can they see in the dark?
~Let's clear up a few confusions.No animal can see in the depressing,PERIOD.In the total absence of light,visual interpretation is impossible for any organism.In pitch black surrounding,buoyant sensitive animals can see very well.In rabbit's they have a remarkably poor eyesight.They cannot see anything that is far from them.They can only see anything that is right surrounded by front of their eyes.They are almost colorblind,only seeing the colors green and blue.They can see in the ominous to some degree but not entirely.Just like humans.But there have to be a light to stimulate the retina of the eye enabling vision.
Will the mothers drink the babies if a human touches it?
~No.But one must be careful when handling them.It could simply change their scent thus mortal a seemingly foreign object to the mother causing abandonment.
Will 2 males eliminate each other in the same pen?
~"Kill" is a bit of a strong word.They will FIGHT each other when placed in the same pen.In cases,they might kill each other.But not all the time.They will protect their nouns when placed in the same cage.But beside proper introduction to each other before placing them in matching cage, raising them both as juveniles, and being neuter,then they can manage to live together.But of course,it is base on their temperaments.
Do they see in color?
~Research say that they can see within color but only in two main ones:blue and green.They can also inform the difference of both colors.
Can they learn their own name?
~Some owners claim they have taight their rabbits to come by mark.But scientifically speaking,they cannot really adjust to name perception.Rabbits with unusually illustrious intelligence may,but it is only in rare cases.
