Animal Organizations.?
Well i WAS all about PETA but then i found some video on Youtube that i didnt really like. And i was kinda wondering if you could lend a hand me and tell me some other organizations like PETA that HELP animals

Go to www.petfinder.com and find shelters/rescues surrounded by your state and/or city and help them instead. I would much rather help a place that I can budge and visit and see how they spend my money then to send my money to some huge firm and have no idea how they are spending my money.
There are rescues for almost every munificent of animal out there...if you want to help birds or rats after find a rescue that helps them and donate to them.
Most cities enjoy wildlife rehabbers .Make sure they are non profit(not non funded) there IS a diference.I like to minister to the non profit ones as they do this from thier heart and not for thier pocket. They can always use help as we are not paid for this, it adjectives comes out of our pockets but is very rewarding .I have done it for over 25 years and love it. All donations are appreciated,food, help, supplies and as expected cash. Contact your local wild life officer to see whether your area has them. Bless you for wanting to help.
your local shelter is the BEST place to start - you can see first hand the animals you are helping..
Local shelters often do wonderful work. There are tons of breed specific or animal specific orgs that do critical work with animals. Lots and lots of orgs. PETA is more political and almost awareness than actual grunt work.
Answers: Your local shelter and SPCA help all animals who need it. The SPCA works beside a broader range than a normal county shelter, I would imagine.
peta doesn't really minister to. They just get on everyone's nerves with their silly exaggerations and dumb advertising. They're pretty quick to put to sleep from what I have read.
