Answers: Don't gain a rabbit from a pet store. They often have health problems and come from mass rabbit breeders who could exactness less about them. Either get one from a reputable breeder...bring in sure you visit the place, don't go by pictures. Or at hand are plenty of rabbits in need of adoption, mostly pure breeds too. They are the most neglected house pet, people tend to hold them in a cage their whole existence, or forget about them in the backyard. It breaks my heart. Also buy a rabbit book and do your research make certain this breed is right for you. Also rabbits aren't easy! Surprisingly they are lots of work, and require daily exercise out of their cage. I own 4 and it's tough keeping up with everything. But they are very smart animals, read up on them and make certain you know your stuff before owning one. They live about 10 years so make certain you can care for them during all that time. They are the cutest animals, but don't get fooled by a fuzzy bunny surrounded by a picture online, many pictures are fakes, unfortunately mass rabbit breeders are simply like puppy mills, except involving rabbits.
One more thing, rabbits do incredibly well in pairs. They are known to live longer, be happier, and in good health. Also being such scared animals they can comfort respectively other and they love to clean and sleep together.
try local farms.
