Any tips on owning a hamster? What breed? What store? ect.?
I probably am getting a hamster and it is my first time. I need any tips. breeds, stores, things I should look for and consider. Also any cute names for a GIRL hamster I have some but I want some more option.

Make certain you purchase a good cage size so as to keep your hamster as comfortable as possible.The minimum size for one is 50cm x 35cm.Make certain that the wire bars are of good and strong aspect.Hamsters can easily chew through them,oftentimes leading to a loose hamster on the house.I would not recommend any aquarium based enclose as the ventilation is not good.Use "carefresh" bedding and not wood shavings as they will cause respiratory problems.
