Anyone know any fun games to play next to a ferret?
Just looking for some new ideas!
Answers: Get a box and cut several holes in it consequently tape the box up. Depending how friendly your ferret it, when it's in there put your foot in and touch the ferret and then quickly verbs your hand out and put into another hole doing the same. Mine love this spectator sport.
Get one of the those cat toys that are like a long furry snake on a stick and drag that about the floor. You can also get flexible pipe, the longer the better.
You can also hide treats about they're play area, so that they can use their hunting instincts to find them.
This is my ferret favourite thing to do when they're out. Even my lazy manly goes nuts.
Take a blanket or sheet or something, fold it so it's a decent size for him to go on and ample room for you to hold on to. Drag it along the floor, while tossing it on him (still holding on to the blanket), than drag it off him and keep going. Your ferret will have a bubble trying to catch up with the blanket, and will even jump on for a ride.
Another piece is to make a box house with mazes and ramp, mine love these, and it's even fun for you because you get to build it.
Another thing they really like is tunnel babe-in-arms toys, with little toys hanging on the inside. You can purchase these second paw for a pretty cheap price. Kind of like the one in the picture:
