Anyone know anything roughly IAMS ANIMAL TESTING?
Now i'm no PETA support and never will be...
I'm not a vegetarian and never will become a vegan,
but what I hate most is UNNECESSARY animal trialling,
like for beauty cosmetics & Dog food??
I just thought i would ask...and alert something like IAMS.
i think it's so silly. but lifes like that.
Nutrition research is no big deal. It is very historic in providing a food that meets the needs of your pet. I doubt at hand are any decent pet food companies that don't test their product before they put on the market it. That would be stupid.
Basically animals are kept in kennels with slatted floors much approaching a pet store, breeding kennel, shelter, whatever. The feces and urine are collected and analyzed for digestibility. Other tests may be done to test nurture additives that improve hair coat, joints, zest, palatability, etc. The dogs are exercised as part of the study. Many of the dogs are volunteered to participate in the study by their owners. After the testing, according to Iams, the rest of the dogs are adopted out. Same deal with cats. And it's not similar to they are testing a million dogs every second. It's just similar to a human research study where certain number of people share for a set time. It certainly does not cause them any pain.

BUT Iams is linked to cruelty BECAUSE they are owned by Parent company PROCTOR & GAMBLE one of the most notorious animal trialling companies around..
they also own EUKANUBA - SWIFFER - FEBREEZE and much more..
I never buy anything made by them..
Iams is a crappy pet food - it used to be good until P & G bought it out years ago and dumbed it down.

I saw the Iams advert and i feel like yelling at the TV "Hey, shut up, you cut dog's voice boxes out while fully conscious' but I didn't, because I don't speak to my TV.
