Anyone virtuous beside rabbits?

I have 2 dwarf rabbits about 1.5 years old. Today I notice that one of the rabbits was shedding like crazy and the other one was fine. Almost partially of her hair has fallen out already and I don't know whats wrong. Any concept?

P.S. I ran out of vitamins so they haven't had any in a while. Could that be the problem?
It's almost winter, she may freshly be shedding her summer coat. If this doesn't seen to be the case you make want to give somebody a lift her to a vet or someone at a pet shop/feed store, or 4-H club for help.
dont worry!
i have had six rabbits, and my dwarf rabbit maisie did the exact same entry. it's fine, just keep the skin clean and dry.
the rationale she is doing this, is she thinks she is pregnant, or she actually is. you may find her running round with coat in her mouth and building a nest. if she does this, it is NOTHING to worry give or take a few. the hair grows back with surrounded by a week or two of her 'final shed'.
however, if she is scratching herself, take her to the vet, because she may enjoy fleas or another kind of paracital infection.
best wishes to your rabbit.
:)
and i dont think vitamins have anything to do next to it. i hardly ever give my rabbits them, and they're all without blemish fine.
Answers:    Hi...I've be raising and showing rabbits for 10 years. Are you sure she is just shedding? If she is surrounded by with the other rabbit it could be that the other rabbit has been pulling out her fuzz. I don't ever recommend rabbits being housed together as this is a typical result, they also will usually fight at one point or another even whether they seem to get along perfectly and I enjoy seen many that chew off pieces of eachother's ears over time as ably. Rabbits are extremely territorial and are not social animals, they do not get lonely or pine for other animal's company. Putting them in cages where on earth they can see eachother is good, but anything beyond that really is dangerous. I know it sounds mean, but tolerable attention from you is actually the best option. But if the other rabbit is not pulling out her fur and she is shedding, afterwards she is probably just going through a really bad molt. To help her obtain through it and shed the rest of her summer coat, put a little bit of water on your hands and rub her fur stern and forth from behind her ears to her tail and back and then repeat. You'll most potential have to rinse your hands off and repeat it profusely the first couple times, but it helps them get through a molt much faster. Unless her skin looks abnormal (red, irritated, bumps) or she is showing severe signs of stress or discomfort I wouldn't be worried at adjectives though. Hope this helps and please feel free to contact me with any more question.
Shedding or just simply losing the hair.

It is credible stress if your rabbit is losing its hair. We had one and adopt one and thought all was good but we put them contained by the same cage too soon and one was okay next to it but the other started losing hair really bad. Well that stressed the other one out that it was losing coat so she started losing hers too.

We separated them again and then build a whole new bigger shut within (10 ft. X 2.5 ft) and put them together and they are best friends.

But STRESS will make a rabbit lose its hair.
No the rabbits shed like that every year. I have a 5 year old rabbit, she sheds every year the first year i get scared. It is because they make a nest with their fur within the winter. Just make sure you get it out of their hold so they don't eat it. They can't digest their hair and it will make them really sick whether they eat it.
I am not sure about the vitamins, but I'd filch her to the vet. Rabbits do shed a ton, but half her hair in sometime is extreme.
