Are AQHA shows vastly expensive?
I just sold my first horse, he is 17 years old, and it was getting a bit expensive to hang on to him. I am going to lease a younger QH, and I want to go bigger than 4H later once I go to alot of 4H shows, and get hold of better, and more experienced. Do you think that if my parents couldn't afford to keep my horse, will AQHA shows be too expensive? Am I getting my hopes up for nought? What does the average class for AQHA cost? I have been riding for five or six years very soon, and I am never going to give it up. I'm not going to let the financial thing find me down, I just need some pointers on which way to steer. Thanks
Answers: AQHA shows aree thoroughly expensive. The classes arent the real issue however they are 20 dollars or more a class sometimes, the saddles show clothesd bridles etc etc etc are seriously more expensive than 4h or get underway, 1500 to 2000 for 1 show jacket is not unheard of for AQHA
