Canter lead and stuff resembling that.?
i've been riding for ages and have never thought abotu my leads but in a minute i ride a difficult horse who never gets her lead correct but i can't relay the difference
so, if i have my left appendage on the outside and my right hand on the inside, what rein is that?
also when i am cantering round the track what leg should be overriding, inside or out?
and when i am pushing a horse over onto the track from something like a circle what leg should i be strong with? for example if i am changin rein should i use my inside leg to push her over or the leg that will be nearest to the barricade i am going to?
sorry i got confused

Answers: 1. right
2 inside
3. inside
You can learn to feel your lead by trying to feel if one of your legs is being pulled a touch farther forward. You can also try and feel if a seat bone is pulled farther forward but that's a bit harder. The side beside your leg going more forward is the lead you're on.
