Desperately need abet. 2 weeks ago I saw my neighbor subsidise over my other neighbors rat terrier?

Yes, the dog was killed instantly. I was horrified but easily assumed (per my wife) that neighbor a would contact neighbor b (and no, neighbor A doesn't know - at least I don't think - I witnessed anything). Today, however, there be missing rat terrier (same dog for sure!) signs on my mailbox and on my stop sign! My gut is maxim to just shut up and stay out of it. OMG
Wow. Neighbor A is a dick.
It would be a kindness to the dog's owners to stop them wondering where their beloved little dog is.

I would have made certain they knew immediately. You can request they leave your signature out of it if possible.

Assuming you live in a city with leash law, the dog's owner cannot sue or anything. But at least they will be able to stop searching for the dog. They are probably paying for advertisement in the paper also.

Try putting yourself in their place... you would want to know. "Evil prevails when correct men fail to act."
You should talk to neighbor A and narrate him to tell Neighbor B what he did. Neighbor A has a moral obligation.
You obligation to do the right thing and tell the people what happen to their dog. I wouldn't want to keep thinking that there might be a chance that I'd obtain my dog back when in reality it's never going to develop. Besides don't the owners have the right to bury or cremate their dog and grieve. Anyone who can run over a dog and not do anything about it (I'm sure they know who's dog it belonged to) should deserve to feel the consequences for their actions. If this were a human and not a pet would you quality any different? It's still was a living creature who was cared for and loved by someone. Do the right point and talk to the owner about what you witnessed and let them appropriate it from there; they don't even need to get you involved they can confront this individual and explain that near was a witness to what happened.
If nothing else at least consent to them know anonymously there is nothing worse than not knowing. From a liability stand point there isn't one whether the dog was out of the yard. I know that I would want to know.
It would be best to put in the picture your neighbor out of curiosity and respect. The neighbor who ran over the dog, is not responsible as its on their land, the other neighbor shows no responsibility over the cat. So its a win or lose situation.

Whatever happened to the body? Do you feel like going to the police and asking for anonymity? The longer the neighbors are looking for their lost dog, the worse it will nag at your conscience.
Well you can tell them they have a dead dog so they don't throw away their time and just be sad and get it over near instead of being sad for a long time before they know. Also you can ask your other neighbor to let somebody know them about what he(she) did to their dog

do the right piece and tell your neighbor . how can someone to that and not feel guilty
You cant do That! No, how would you perceive if that was ur dog and you never new the truth. If that be me, and i didnt tell it be on my conscience forever. You kinda have to, it be the humane thing to do. did neighbor A, throw the body absent or something?
Answers:    If you do not want to get in the middle of this, you can try going away an anonymous letter stating what you saw. Type it up, print it out, and mail it from another part of town. That route, they will know what happened, but no one will be able to trace it posterior to you.
Stay out of it. You will just get your other neighbor mad at you. It is better to live within peace than in fighting. Remember you have to live near them for a long time. Good Luck
TELL YOUR NEIGHBORS

THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW THAT THEIR BELOVED PET IS DEAD AND IS NOT GOING TO BE FOUND.

shame on you for even considering not recounting them.

who cares if your neighbor finds out you told on them... they did something horrible.

i would hate to live subsequent to you if something happened to a human being...would u keep hold of your mouth shut?
if you had told the dog owners the first light of day, the police could have confirmed it with evidence on the tires. icky, but true.

now , it is too unsettled, and you should keep it to yourself.
ok u should voice something but dont say to much just in crust. The owners are probably really upset so tell them not to say that u said anything but still tell them .
Please tell your neighbors what have happened. As a dog lover I would be devastated if my dog went lost I would always be hoping that she would be found or come back. Put them out of their misery.
You have to say something, but I think through they'd be freaked about the 2 week wait...

Put an anomous letter contained by their mailbox?...just get it off your intellect.

Or approach the other neighbour and say I saw what you did and you need to go fess up if not you will.

You can't leave it, it will eat you up.good luck

Tell those poor society what happened to their dog. The truth is the best thing.
tell the truth because whether they ever found out that this happened and you did not say anything they could get you contained by trouble along with your other neighbor.

They will probably more than happy too! Just tell them and whether you need help with it you can other instant message me if you just click on my picture you should see an IM button when you get to my profile!
you call for to tell that family that their dog is dead. how would you get the impression if you were in their shoes??
You should definitely communicate them. They are probably searching everywhere for their poor dog. Your other neighbors are horrible people if they didn't notify them they backed over the dog!

If you don't want to get involved with the neighbors that run over the dog, maybe leave an anonymous note for the neighbors of the comatose dog, this way no one will know who told them and you aren't stuck in the middle
Silence is golden
go to the neighbor that you saw hit the dog. tell him that you saw what happened and whether by the end of the week he hasn't told the owner that your going to do it.
