Do foxes smell impossible??
Yes they own a strong musky smell. But their amazing personalities and intelligence make up for it.
I have a pet fox when I was growing up. They are super smart and bond to you quickly. They do have anal glads that can be kinda smelly. If you maintain the cage really clean it's not a big thing. I have to clean the cage about every 2-3 days.
Answers: I would describe it more like a strong smell than a bad smell.
