Do hamsters hibernate?

That probably sounds like a stupid question, but my hamster who is in the region of 3 years old, look dead. I'm not sure whether she is, because she's cold and slightly breathing [ I THINK. ] I'm like, 95% sure she's dead, but I don't wanna put her surrounded by a little box and bury her and she's not dead.. So I was wondering whether they hibernate maybe? [ Just thinking of excuses for her to not be dead. ]

sorry but i don't have an idea that they do. hamsters only live for about 3 years or so, i think yours is dying. whether she won't react to your touch or anything then she probably is dead.
Hamsters do not hibernate.Hamsters do a "torpor".A part hibernation wherein in cold times, they will be inactive and sleep most of the time. But they for sure do not hibernate

3 years old is already a fruitful life for a hamster.Try to check out the vet for any treatment or anything he can do.But I won't get my hopes up.
