Does anybody out in attendance know anything around a rabbit fitting pregnant twice and carring 2 litters at once?
The babies probably got larger, making her fatter. But, Im not sure how you would come to this conclusion. Mabye its possible, but I think that is to say very, and I mean very, doubtful. Do you enjoy more information? I will gladly help with more info.
Cyfox is right. If she was bred again after six hours of the first breeding, all the babies (from the second breeding) will be born deformed and will die (most promising born dead), since they didn't have as much time to be completely formed.
But, the "labor" will go just as in a hurry.
Answers: A female rabbit has two uterine horns. If a male mate with them twice, both uterine horns can carry babies. Most irresponsible(I'm not pertaining to you) breeders who are checking if their rabbit is already pregnant make the doe mate again with the buck after 48 hours after the original mating. It is said that a doe, once pregnant, will not mate. This is NOT true.A doe can achieve pregnant twice through both uterine horns. They can still accept a buck if they are still in bake.
Oftentimes, this kind of methods leads to "double pregnancy".The doe will hold two litter inside her.The litters produced, usually, will be deformed(i.e decapitated team leader, incomplete limbs etc.).And this may also lead to the death of the feminine rabbit.
